- What does an event planner do?
An event planner creates the design of an event, perfectly executes the event
by having exceptional organizational skills and follow up with all vendors
involved in the event, and is there the day of the event to ensure a flawless
outcome. Additionally, and event planner tackles all issues that may arise
before, during and after the course of the event being planned.
- If my venue comes with a wedding coordinator why
should I hire an outside person?
The event coordinator that may be provided by a venue has a very limited list
of things they are responsible for. This list may include letting all of your
vendors into the location, show you and your wedding party where to get ready
at, guide the guest to the appropriate area of the venue, keep you on time to
start the event and answer any day of questions pertaining to the venue you
have chosen. In most cases the day of coordinator that is provided by a venue
does not instruct vendors where to set up at, is not responsible for preparing
and decoration the location for the event and had no involvement in the design
process of the event. However, an outside event planner will design the entire
event, execute the plan to perfection and assist with anything that may come up
before, during and after the event. Most importantly, an event planner is your
liaison between your dream vision and the reality of the event.
- How much time in advance do I need to book an
This question depends on the event planner and the type of event that you are
trying to book. At Always Elegant Events we prefer as much time as possible so
we can assist you with planning the event to perfection from start to finish.
However, if your event is a week away and you decide that you would like an
event planner or event coordinator no problem. We have an experienced team
that would be happy to assist with any last moment details and services.

- If I am on a tight budget can I afford an
Always Elegant Events believes everyone should have the event they have always
envisioned. With that being said, if you have a target budget in mind no matter
how big or small that budget may be we can most likely accommodate you. Once a
contract has been drawn it is up to the event planner to stay within the
targeted budget. We achieve that by creating innovative, cost friendly ideas
that are sure to exceed your design expectations.
- What is a complimentary design meeting?
Our complimentary design meeting is a 45 minute collaboration where we discuss
how you envision your event. We then present you with a few ideas that capture
your vision. At the complimentary design meeting our goal is to understand you
and your event planning needs. We also want you to get to know us and take away
a few complimentary design ideas that suit your overall style of the event.
